Happy 8 Birthday Brooke !

Brooke had so much fun at her birthday party. She had two, one with my family and one with Russ's. We were in St. George at my sisters house, went swimming and hiking the kids had fun.

Time Goes By So Fast

When we moved out here 3 in a half years ago this is what my kids looked like. They were so small, now Ayden my youngest is going to start kindergarton, And Brooke is getting Baptized,And Shireen well she is talking about boys,staying on the phone all the time and shaving. Were does the time go. My kids are really good kids, Russ and I just love them do much, and are so proud of our kids.

Bruised Ego and Tailbone

So I am so embarrassed, I was so excited to ride my horse. I am just learning to ride and not very good, but I love to ride. My horses name is Dot. She was not in a good mood, but I thought I could ride it out of her. She was ok at first then she started to crow hope, which I can handle, but then she took off, I have never been on a horse that has gone so fast. Dot tried to run me into the fence. Then she took off even faster. I was scared and did a stupid thing and held onto the saddle. Which through me off balance so when she took the corner I flew off her and hit my tailbone really hard. I know holding onto the saddle was so dumb, I have friends that ride all the time and they have always told me that holding on to the horn is not a good thing at all. Russ mentioned that fact while I was laying on the ground wondering if we should call the ambulance. I just got so scared. I ended up really sore and cried that night because I could not move and it hurt so freaking bad. It has been 2 days and I am now just walking around. I am still really sore, I have learned my lesson and understand why everyone always say not to hold onto the horn or the cantle, especially don’t hold onto both at the same time.
PS. So if you see me I deserve to be laughed at.

I am so sorry I am not very good at keeping up on my blog. It has been a crazy summer. Then school started I was so excited about the kids going back to school then they left and I was so excited for them to come home, I missed them. Its really sad thinking that next year my youngest will be going to kindergarten all day. I think that the kids are happy to be with friends and they love their teachers. I am thrilled to have my house organized again, but it gets lonely sometimes.
Some really good friends were down the other day; she had just shot her first antelope. She was so happy and a little sad, but I think that I am going to take hunter safety. My friend wants me to so we can go hunting together, which could be a lot of fun.

Russ and I had the chance to go to California to a wedding of some really good friends it was so fun and we are so happy for them. We did get into a car accident while we were there someone ran a red light and hit us nobody was hurt so that was goood. Shireen also was able to go to California with my parents to visit my sister and her cute family. She had so much fun I really missed her. We also had my family up for my sisters birthday and it was also mine and Russ's 12 aniversary.It rained and we still went to the lake it was so cold and fun, the water was great and very cold but refreshing. It was nice to see my family. My girls love playing T-Ball and soft ball it is fun to watch the kids play. well that is what has been going on in the last couple months for us. next time I will have pictures.

Almost Done !

This is a before and after picture of the kitchen, all we need to do is our counter tops, that will happen this summer. I sanded and painted the cabinets, and a really good friend glazed and put a dark brown around the edges. It looks so good. My in laws had extra tile from when they built thier house. We are excited to finally have the house become are own. We have been here for 2 years it is nice to see things change.

Ayden is my sweet baby boy. He says thank you, no thanks, please, and damn it. He was so mad at me the other day because he wanted to take a bath. So for a half hour he kept saying, “ I am dirty, I need a bath.” I told him no he had just taken a shower earlier, so he went out side and rolled in the dirt and came back in and said see mom I am dirty.
